The Vortex Sea is a body of ferocious, frothing, and murderous water off the southern coast of Avestros. Countless sailors have lost their lives attempting to navigate its tides, but not all who dwell below the surface of these evil waters are wicked. Mob-mobs are the most populous water-dwelling species in Avestros—a statistic made all the more impressive considering they live exclusively in the Vortex Sea. Jovial folk, mob-mobs resemble very large jellyfish; their heads are crowned with a bulbous bell, and they have four long limbs which trail gracefully behind them in water, and clumsily support them on land.
