The sky city of Vedrgard is a stunning metropolis and a paradise for dragons and their descendants. Lately, many in Vedrgard have reported missing persons, all dragons and dragonfolk. However the city’s Queen Sigrunn, a copper dragon so ancient she can barely move, only takes notice when her granddaughter is counted among the disappearances. She offers a great reward for anyone who can discover who is behind the disappearances and return her daughter to her alive.

Miles away is a much smaller floating island, a lair for the pirate crew of Admiral Viggo. The island stays in the air through the use of an eternal flame powered by kidnapped dragons and their descendants’ breath weapons. The characters’ search takes them to this lair, where they’ll most likely have to plan a daring escape, for to remove the kidnapped dragonfolk means extinguishing the very fire that keeps the island in the air!
