As mysterious and beautiful as the trembling twilight sky, spherian are a species of humanoids imbued with divine starlight. Long-lived and deeply reclusive, spherian are believed to be mythological by some creatures, or alien visitors to the material plane by others. In truth, they are as terrestrial as a mountain dwarf, but hold such little interest in the affairs of others that they find no reason to engage with the tussles and tantrums that shape the modern world. Spherian do not require food or water to survive, and care little of earthly possessions, and so have no impetus to exploit or dominate other creatures. They prefer the solace of nighttime, although curious individuals have been known to venture out under the light of day to pursue the call of adventure.
